MARCH 30, 2019 EVENT International Women’s Festival – Central Coast, CA

February 16, 2019

Hi there! So, our International Women’s Festival, Central Coast, CA committee and volunteers have been working at a rapid pace to make this celebration a huge success. We now have a designated Facebook page and website just for International Women’s Festival, Central Coast, CA.  Please visit our Facebook page, like, comment and feel free to register for tickets on Eventbrite. Have your friends join you on March 30th, 2019, at La Selva Beach, CA. from 9-4.  Our theme is Inclusion, Connection and Empowerment.  I truly believe if you don’t feel included and connected, it’s nearly impossible to feel authentically empowered.  As you might know, this event is being held at a fabulously beautiful location on the central coast.  There are oodles of amazing outdoor activities and other wonderful, fun things to do. Heck, why not make it a weekend? Bring your friends and or family have a mini vacation.  Or make it all about you. And not a moment’s guilt!

We have an amazing speaker lineup, and I’m really proud to have so much talent packed into one day.  Our keynote speaker is Ms. Tama J. Kieves. Tama is an honors graduate of Harvard Law School and left a prestigious law firm in order to pursue her true life’s calling, which was to help others find their true-life passions. Tama conducts workshops at retreat centers nation-wide, and has written several best-selling books including, her latest release, Thriving During Uncertainty.   Tama exudes enthusiasm, humor and showers her students with hope and encouragement.

We’re also fortunate to have Ms. Jill Lublin as one our speakers as well. Jill is the CEO of a consulting firm, performing as publicity strategist. She is four-time bestselling author, and wows her audiences worldwide with her entertaining and interactive style.  Jill’s presentation, “Get Known Everywhere with Publicity,” based on her international bestseller, Guerrilla Publicity, can be valuable to the woman starting her own business, creating a non-profit, blogging or pursuing other creative, business or philanthropic endeavors.

We’re so honored to have Ms. Janice Niederhofer, owner of two companies, “Undercover Rose, ” and “Humankind Alliance.”  Janice is an expert in human behavior, training and leadership development.  Janice delivers powerful life lessons through stories from her colorful career as an undercover agent, hostage negotiator, interrogator, and SWAT team member.  Janice shows how to break down the doors that limit people from realizing their true potential. She has a knack for finding humor in the most unlikely situations, drawn from a life of triumph over adversity.

Brescia Kralovic – Logan is a treasured former director of the International Women’s Festival, Pacific North West, 2016. She has generously donated her time by mentoring me through this project, and is also the founder and owner of “Women’s Woven Voices,” and “The Spiral of Creativity.”  Brecia is a talented artist and leads art retreats throughout the world.  She has additionally created a “Pebble Rebel Award” to honor women who are making a positive difference in their communities. Can you think of a woman you admire? Please don’t hesitate to nominate her – see our Facebook or website, for the links to cast your vote. Also, don’t hesitate to email Brecia directly if you have any specific questions.  The award deadline to get your nominations in is March 10th.  It’s really a fabulous way to publicly honor someone who might not normally be recognized.

So, it promises to be a day full of powerful, interactive presentations. One of the reasons I’m so passionate about this festival is that in spite of the amazing freedoms and opportunities American women enjoy, female causes and programs are almost unilaterally grossly underrepresented and underfunded.  Women are directly or indirectly denied access to many sources of power financially, socially and professionally.  Less than 3% of all philanthropic donations go towards organizations that support girls and women.  Less thank 5% Angel Funding investments go to women owned businesses. Also, less than 5% of all the billions of dollars awarded every year to federal contractors are awarded to female owned businesses.

I really believe that female appetites and ambitions are not dirty words, but rather gifts that need to be shared and developed.  March 30th will be a day to do just that.  As women, we can work together to phase out rules that don’t work for us anymore, and also, to rewrite and create some new chapters in our book that will enhance our lives professionally, emotionally and spiritually So, I hope you’ll attend our celebration. More details to follow shortly!   Give yourself a treat of enjoying a day connecting with thought leaders, CEO’s, career strategists, authors and artists.  Also, please email me at with any questions at all, and visit our website is for more information and to buy tickets: We hope to see you March 30, 2019 at the Festival!
