Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara
is proud to be part of the Women’s Festivals every year!  Join us to see our girls sing at the VIP Reception and come by our booth during the festival to say hi and learn more about our mission, facilities, and ways you can make a difference.

Parents and girls agree, there’s no place like Girls Inc. for afterschool enrichment!  Girls Inc. offers a safe, fun, girls-only environment where girls gain the foundation to help them reach their maximum potential.  Offering FREE transportation during the school year, our vans pick up girls from 30 plus schools in the community and our after-school programs run until 6:00pm.

Girls Inc. programs are classified under the six following categories.  Careers & Life Planning, Health & Sexuality, Leadership & Community Action, Sports & Adventure, Self-Reliance & Life Skills, and Culture & Heritage.  Programs are delivered by professionally trained facilitators in licensed centers located in Santa Barbara (531 E. Ortega Street) and Goleta (4973 Hollister Avenue).  Enroll in person at the Center of your choice.

$100/week full time (3 days or more)
$60/week part time (2 days or less)
$35 Full Day or Holiday
$50 Registration Fee

Volunteer Leadership Pays Off
2011 Women’s Festivals co-emcees and fitness professionals, Kymberly Williams-Evans, MA and Alexandra Williams, MA, better known as “Fun and Fit,” launched their new online radio show December 14 on WomensRadio. Kymberly and Alexandra learned about WomensRadio at the 2010 Women’s Festival, where they connected with business owners and festival presenters, Pat Lynch and Kat Barrett. The “Gutsy Gal” award will be presented to Santa Barbara’s top former super model, Kathy Ireland, at a VIP reception during the May 9 to 10 International Women’s Festivals, which has the theme “Live, Love, Learn.” The fifth annual Women’s Festivals will be held on the Santa Barbara City College West Campus. Women’s Festivals founder, Patty DeDominic receives Spirit of Entrepreneurship from NAWBO!
The Spirit of Entrepreneurship Awards were created to honor both a national level entrepreneur and local women who exemplify what it means to be a successful entrepreneur. The winners were selected by independent judges from forty-five women business owners in Santa Barbara County who had been nominated in the months preceding the awards. read more…
