Lois was born in Guyana, south America where she started performing at the age of 5 and toured throughout the Caribbean singing with her family in churches and on any stage they could find. It was there she developed her love for Jazz, Gospel, and R&B. After moving to the United States, Lois has been fortunate to have performed and recorded with Kenny Loggins, Michael MacDonald, Norman Gimble, and many others. Mignonne Profant, president of Open Voice Live, is a motivational speaker, singer, actress and business owner who is equally comfortable in the worlds of musical theater and cabaret, board rooms and bank statements. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of UCLA with a degree in Communications, Mignonne is also a cofounder of the John E. Profant Foundation for the Arts, a non-profit organization which has given over $250,000 in scholarships to students of the fine arts since 2000. The Foundation produces free concerts and exhibits of professional artists for the Santa Barbara community.
